My client is a privately owned developer working on small to medium new build residential developments. Developments range from 5 to 35 units throughout Essex and South Suffolk. They are actively searching for an experienced quantity surveyor to join their small commercial team. The Quantity Surveyor will be expected to undertake the lead on 2 projects based in Essex.

Key duties will be – management of all variations & cost packages, CVR’s, sub contractor procurement, cost analysis & forecasting and overall commercial delivery on both projects. You will be reporting into a Managing Quantity Surveyor and will be able to work from the office with site visits. You will be encouraged to take ownership of your developments and build strong working relationships with subcontractors.
