Accounts Assistant

Holden Jones is pleased to be exclusively recruiting this varied and interesting role working for an expanding organisation, considered market leaders in their field. As part of a small finance team your core responsibilities will include: maintenance of both purchase and sales ledgers; credit control; monitoring and updating of cash-flow; updating of cash-book and FX rates; assisting with accruals and prepayments; posting of journal entries and stock receipting and reporting. Given the size of the team there will occasions where you will be covering for, and assisting with other areas, so you must demonstrate a committed and genuine team ethic and the ability to perform under pressure. As an individual it is likely that you will have started your professional studies (CIMA/ACCA/AAT), although non-studiers will also be considered. You will have good systems skills and also very strong Excel abilities. It is an advantage for the successful candidate to be fluent in either French or Portuguese.
