Accounts Assistant

Temporary Accounts Assistant position!!

Start date 11/11/19

Monday – Friday 9-5:30pm

Location – Govan

Hourly rate – £8.50 – £10ph DOE

My client based in the Govan area of Glasgow are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis starting from Monday the 11th of November..

THE ROLE:

• Export and import of customer invoices
• Preparation of customer statements
• Processing of customer payments
• Sales ledger reconciliation
• Raising purchase orders and maintenance of internal approval system
• Processing supplier invoices
• Purchase ledger reconciliations
• Processing of bank and credit card transactions
• Weekly and monthly bank reconciliation
• Maintenance of system FX rates
• Ad Hoc finance Project support
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Preparing suggested supplier payment run
• Allocating supplier payments
• Processing employee expenses
• Processing corporate purchasing cards transactions
• Supplier statement reconciliation

THE CANDIDATE:

• High quality customer service ethos
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to deliver quality
• Highly organised and able to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks
• Experience of managing and leading a team, with strong leadership skills
• Highly IT literate with previous experience of Excel and Sage essential
• Capable of dealing with high level of transactional data
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate to variety of levels
• Problem solving and a creative, can do attitude
• Pro-active and ability to work to deadlines
