Position: Accounts Assistant

An established and highly regarded Blue Chip company based in Chester are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join its busy team of 12. This vacancy has arisen due to rapid growth within the business and the company is looking for either an AAT Studier or someone AAT Qualified who is looking for a new challenge. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounts from Sales Ledger through to Assisting with the preparation of the Management Accounts. This is ideal for someone who enjoys a busy, varied and challenging role.

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:

• Purchase Ledger
• Sales Ledger
• Bank reconciliations
• Petty Cash
• VAT
• Assisting with month end Management Accounts
• Adhoc accounts duties as required by FD
  

Essential Requirements are:

• AAT Studier / AAT qualified
• Experience within a busy blue-chip accounts department
• Advanced Excel skills and experience of using Sage ERP (or another ERP system)
