Applications Support Analyst

Business Application Support Analyst – Salary £22,800 – £30,000 + Excellent benefits – 12 month FTC

Based: Farnborough

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is looking for a professional and experienced Business Application Support Analyst to join their team. You will report directly to the Business Application Team Leader. The role assists in the delivery of support services to a nationwide network of offices with a total user community of 250 staff.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Work on the Business Application Helpdesk and resolve staff operating issues and technical faults through direct resolution or with assistance for third party suppliers as appropriate
• Complete necessary routines and update tasks in order to maintain SalesForce, StaffCare, ORCID, O-TIS, Captiva and the Private Client Proposition tools
• Oversee all system delivery for corporate clients, including gathering data requirements and client training
• Assist with provision of internal data extracts and management information as necessary
• Assist in design and testing of system changes along with new functionality of Vista, SalesForce, StaffCare, ORCID, O-TIS, Captiva and Private Client Proposition tools
• Deliver staff training on all supported applications
• Manage client data requests from Providers, ensuring they are held centrally and securely

Essential skills and experience:

• Minimum of 3 years in a helpdesk support IT department – ideally within a Financial Services Company although this is not essential
• Educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of EMC Captiva, or Quay CCD would be desirable
• Well organised and calm under pressure
• Excellent communicator used to dealing with all levels of employee
• Self motivated with excellent decision making skills
• Willingness to take responsibility and take ownership for work
