moving business within a dynamic market place.
Dimensions
The role is responsible for the line management of a team of circa 2 people working in the European headquarters
operation of a high growth, technology business. The role will also assume dotted line responsibility for CPOs Supply
Chain Operations in the US. The extended Global CPO Distribution Operations team will consist of circa 9 people in the
centralised headquarters function. CPO generated Global Sales of $3.5 Billion in 2012, of which $1 Billion was generated

direct contractual relationships with 15 Distributors in the W. European sales region and 6 in the US with sales strategies
based on a mixture of open and selective Distribution according to product family.
Principal Accountabilities
· Provision of Sales Out / Install forecast commitment: work on a monthly cycle with the NARS and NAAO central
teams to produce a robust sales out / install plan on a rolling 6 months basis. Engage feedback from the US NCAMs
(Distribution Account Managers) on the plan and determine feasibility of the sales out plans based on the bids pipeline,
future tacticals and historical run rates.
· Establish Distributor weeks of inventory: work with the CPO senior management team on establishing the Distributor
weeks of inventory targets for sales in planning purposes (closing and opening inventory targets by month over 6
months)
· Translation of Sales Out / Install forecast into a Sales In plan: a key output of this role will be to provide the US
Distribution Operations Sales In team with an agreed Sales In plan by Distributor (Distributor Purchase Advice) for
execution for the current month and subsequent 5 months. The plan needs to be the output of the concurrence between
NARS/NAAO Sales Out / Install teams and the CPO Distribution Operations team (formal sign off and commitment to Sell
to Forecast (StF) principles via Governance process), as well as being feasible from a supply plan perspective based on
prior agreed forecast submissions to the Integrated Supply Chain team (ISC).
· Provide Demand Signal to the ISC: based on the output of the Sell to Forecast Distributor Purchase Advice, provide
the ISC with the 6 months rolling demand signal for discussion at the monthly Demand/Supply StF cycles with the ISC
and gain commitment to a minimum 6 months rolling supply plan to support the Sales In plan (incorporating Direct Ship).
· Operational Supply Chain Support Strategy: manage and execute the CPO Supply Chain strategy to meet predicted
customer requirements and anticipated shifts in market dynamics.

levels, order fulfilment rates, Distributor back-orders, Reseller backlog, supply chain operating costs and develop
solutions to improve the effectiveness of the operation, including cost minimisation while improving the service to the
Distributors.
· Management of Distributor S.L.A.s/K.P.I.s: Monitor the Distributor performance against the agreed K.P.I.s
within the Distributor S.L.A. (for example same day order fulfilment rates and next day haulier delivery performance) to the
various Channel Partners (Open, Closed and Xerox Direct). Daily, weekly or monthly K.P.I.s to be managed effectively
and any necessary actions taken to ensure that customer service is optimised by minimising any potential supply chain
disruption.
· Team Management: key member of the CPO Distribution Operations team. Major contributor to the development
of the CPO Global Supply Chain strategy and to the implementation of CPO Supply Chain processes and procedures.
Manage and monitor CPO US Supply Chain costs against budget and run rates (orders, orderlines and units).
· Project Management: key contributor and stakeholder to the successful implementation of CPO Distribution and
Supply Chain projects.
· Process Control & Change Management: ensure availability and effective control of policy and procedure
documentation within Distribution Operations in the US and to its external and internal customer base. Provision of
training on a team or individual basis to ensure proper execution of policy and procedure. Oversee process testing to
validate conformance with operating procedures under audit. Oversee change control processes within Distribution
Operations to enable timely and deliberate responses to alterations in the operating environment in which CPO does
business and to prevent the development of unauthorised process.
· People Management: ensure each team member holds an up to date PEP and job profile and that objectives are
