I am looking for an experienced Registered Manager to manage an Autism Day Centre, and Supported Living and Outreach services across the Leicestershire area. Support packages range from a few hours each week, to more comprehensive care packages and 24-hour supported living for those with more complex needs, such as epilepsy, sensory over- or under-sensitivity, and other health difficulties. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading charities.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for leading the outstanding care and management of all aspects of your services, ensuring individual outcomes are met
• Maintaining quality of service and striving to grow and develop the services, adapting to changing needs
• Take full legal responsibility for making sure the services ensure compliance with CQC regulation
• Ensure that the needs of adults with autism are assessed, identified and met through careful programme planning and behaviour support
• Managing an agreed budget to provide an efficient, viable service
• Supervising and managing a staff team

For this great role you must have:

• Experience of working as a Registered Manager in an autism, learning disability or mental health setting
• A positive, pro-active and flexible approach
• An excellent working knowledge of care standards and related legislation as well as accurate and detailed report writing skills and business and finance skills
• A recognised social work qualification or a professional qualification relevant to working with adults at least at level 4
• A qualification in management at least at level 4 (or willingness to complete this
• At least two years’ experience relevant to social care within the last five years
• At least two years’ experience supervising and managing professional staff
• A full UK driving license to your own transport.
