A medium sized contractor, specialising in new build commercial projects – mainly offices and warehousing. A mix of design and build projects for long standing clients and some of their own developments.
The Project
A number of projects are starting in the coming months, hence the need to add to their commercial team. Typical project values from £5m – £30m in value and involve steel frame office and warehouse projects.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor for the project, your role will include but not be limited to:
* Day to day reporting into the commercial manager
* Cost reporting
* Negotiations and building relationships with the supply chain
* Dealing with take-offs and variations
* Making payments
* Final accounts
About you
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience working with a similar sized contractor on similar projects in the past.
* Have a relevant degree in Quantity Surveying
* Have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience
* Have a current CSCS card
