Marketing & Communications Officer

Salary: £20.17 – £21.37 per hour

Our client is a successful training provider specialising in the education sector. They are at the next stage of an ambitious growth plan and are now seeking a creative individual to raise their profile further on all media platforms.

You will be the lead in the coordination of all communications with the training delivery partners. This will include producing and managing production of content for the website, all relevant social media platforms and managing media applications in which Head Teachers are directly engaged in.

You will be integral to delivering the best contact for this provider to enable maximum engagement with its target audience.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and deliver impactful, audience-focused communications for internal and external stakeholders

* Lead on the development, monitoring and management of communication channels, including web and social media content

* Monitoring the performance and effectiveness of communications projects and materials, by gathering and analysing audience engagement through analytics and qualitative means

* Produce digital social media content including web content, email marketing, maximising SEO, blogs and Facebook.

* Leading on events and arranging conferences and seminars to maximise these partnerships.

Specific Qualifications and Experience

* 3 A Levels, NVQ 3, HND or diploma (or equivalent experience)

* Confident using IT platforms relevant to the role, such as social media management systems and email marketing software

* Experience relevant to the responsibilities in communications

The successful candidate will be a self starter, innovative and proactive. You will have the natural ability to connect with people, can think quickly and bring solutions. You will be highly organised, motivated and will lead on ideas in promoting the brand of this partnership for the best effect. You will have an engaging personality and can influence colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels.

Previous experience of working with a start-up company is highly desirable and you will have the opportunity to make your own mark within this organisation.

This is a hybrid working role divided between home and the office in Sittingbourne. The hours of work are 8.30am – 4.30pm. Please note this is a term time only role + 4 weeks which is reflected in the salary on offer.
