Business Development Manager – Electric Vehicle Charging Points

Salary: £32,400 – £38,400 per year

An established player in the electric car charging sector is presently looking to appoint a proven business developer to increase UK market share and brand recognition.

The Position:

The appointed Business Development Manager will assume responsibility for:

* Defining and executing a robust commercial strategy for the UK market

* Promoting our client’s wall and floor mounted ultra-fast charging points for electric vehicles

* Targeting commercial, hospitality, retail, leisure, heritage, leasing, home and public sector customers

* Generating targeted revenue from new and existing customers across the UK

* Managing a small team of internal sales and operational staff

* Acting as first point of contact for a wide range of third parties

* Setting up and negotiating contracts with support of legal team

* Continuously identifying opportunities for improvements in technical, operational and commercial ways of working

* Meeting with customers, providing advice, closing deals and ensuring that installations run smoothly

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

* A minimum of five years’ sales and business development experience within the EV charging infrastructure sector

* Experience of working closely with private, public and not for profit organisations

* A network of contacts among M&E contractors, designers and architects

* Previous leadership experience (staff supervision or direct man management)

* Experience of managing tender processes (bid writing, RFI/RFQ, presentations etc)

* First class contractual negotiation and closing skills
