Technical Author / Technical Writer / Technical Librarian

My client, a market leader in their field have a rare & exciting opportunity to recruit a Technical Author/Librarian as part of their expanding team! The role will involve working alongside as well as supporting the wider development team in the creation of written technical documents, templates etc.

Initially a Graduate/Junior role, there is excellent scope for career progression with this role and we ideally want someone who would like to progress within the company to Quality Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and own formal documentation templates
Create and enforce standard document naming conventions
Create and enforce formal document review procedures i.e. “Quality Control”
Define and enforce a common structure to be applied to the documentation library which contains all project documentation, POs, WOs, plans, minutes, notes and other supporting material
Enforce version control Knowledge/Qualifications:

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, documentation repository software e.g. Sharepoint
Good knowledge of Windows 365
Good knowledge/understanding of technical language
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Good communicator – Verbal and written
Reasonable understanding of, and interest in computer/network technology
General interest in QA
