Legionellla Risk Assessor

Due to recent workload, this thriving and expanding water treatment company is current seeking to employ a competent and focused Legionella Risk Assessor in West Midlands.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant will ideally have attended an approved Risk Assessment course – City & Guilds and ideally will come from a Legionella Consultancy background.

Will be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Will have varied experience – Carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Must have working knowledge of ACOP L8 and prior experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.

Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers.

Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through maintenance regimes, quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.

Carrying out monthly temperature testing and water sampling.

Carrying out survey of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.

Collating and producing comprehensive reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports.

Building and maintaining good relationship with clients.

The successful candidate will be flexible, have good work ethic and at the same time have the ability to work effectively.

Will have good working knowledge of commercial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these.

Will have the ability to communicate effectively.
