FM Account Manager

Salary: £72,000 – £78,000 per year

Randstad CPE are working with a leading FM provider looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis on a prestigious static site in Newcastle.

Role Summary:

* Daily management of the on site maintenance team including compliance with disciplinary processes and procedures.
* To direct, instruct and manage all staff under their control ensuring compliance with working practices.
* To complete the weekly operations report to the client and attend weekly operations meeting, client meetings as requested, in conjunction with the client.
* Ensure that all matters that may impact the smooth running of the building and facilities are immediately reported to both the company and the client’s Senior Management.
* To conduct regular reviews of operating procedures making recommendations for improvement with appropriate working practices and emergency/contingency procedures within the critical systems.
* Development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.

Experience Required:

* Experience in Building Services industry.
* Strong communication skills.Ability to lead, motivate and direct a team of technicians/operatives.
* Possess an understanding of Health and Safety issues.
* Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
* Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
* Previous operational experience of facilities management including hard and soft services (M&E, catering, security, cleaning, grounds maintenance)
* Permit to work and management of change
* Risk assessments and method statements
* Finance reasoning and understanding
