ACCOUNTS MANAGER ROLE NEAR RUSHDEN, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE- JOB REF: JO32065

Accountancy Elite are delighted to be partnered with a very well-established Accountancy Practice based near Rushden providing excellent services to a wide range of clients across the region. This exciting new position has emerged due to a period of continued expansion within the Accounts department. This role could lead directly to Director/Partner progression.

The successful candidate for this role would ideally be someone who is either ACCA or ACA qualified, however candidates who are qualified by experience will definitely be considered. A minimum of 6 years’ UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Previous experience in preparing accounts and tax returns for a variety of companies is essential.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of complex accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
• Managing a sizable client portfolio consisting primarily of a range of SMEs. Building strong, lasting relationships with these new and existing clients.
• As the department grows in size, responsibilities may include manging both junior and senior members of staff.
• Opportunity to develop new business and grow the client base.
• Adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.

Candidates Attributes:

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• ACCA or ACA qualified OR QBE.
• Strong experience of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and confident in managing a sizable client portfolio independently.
