Quality Inspector

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join the team of a successful Manufacturing company based in Coventry. The role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis.

As a Quality Inspector your duties will include:

• Inspection of products, components, assemblies and tooling, ensuring the company products are fit for purpose and meet the required quality standards /customer expectations.
• Ensuring the necessary quality control to ensure all production processes are inspected and tested thus meeting internal requirements.
• Monitoring quality related shop floor activities
• Verifying traceability of all components
• Monitoring the assembly and integration work
• Implementing KIP (Key Inspection Points) and in-process inspections
• Liaise with outside inspectors and auditors
• Assisting with process reviews to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Providing metrics and quality manufacturing data to assess the effectiveness of systems and undertake corrective actions.
• Working in conjunction with other areas of the business

The ideal Quality Inspector will have the following skills and experiences:

• Quality control experience and have worked within a manufacturing environment.
• Production line experience
• Automotive manufacturing experience would be advantageous
• The ability to work within busy working environment and meet client deadlines
• Good attention to detail / self disciplined with excellent communication skills
• An understanding of Technical drawings and interpretation of technical data.
• Knowledge and awareness of ISO 9001:2008 would be advantageous
• Knowledge of the FIA,MSA and Motorsport Championships and regulations would be advantageous

The working hours of this role are 8.30am – 17.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.30am – 17.00pm on a Friday.

In return you will receive a salary of £28,200per annum. Plus extensive permanent package offered after 12 weeks.
