Team Leader – Inspection

Wise Employment is working closely with a North Devon based Casting Company who are looking to recruit an experienced Inspection Team Leader.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the inspection department, organising the inspectors and allocating tasks, liaising with the QA department and sub-contractors to ensure that customer orders are completed on time.

Duties will include
* Organising the inspection team and allocating tasks
* Ensuring customer orders are completed on time
* Arranging the booking in and out of products
* Liaising with account handlers
* Using measuring equipment to dimensionally check components
* Ensuring the Health and Safety procedures are adhered to

The successful candidate
* A solid background and knowledge of inspection work and processes
* Previous supervisory or team leader experience
* Good communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
* Hands on approach

Previous inspection experience, use of measuring equipment and knowledge of completing related paperwork is essential for this position.
