Production Team Leader

We are currently recruiting for our Barnsley based client. Due to expansion they are looking for a Production Supervisor to join the busy manufacturing team. You will be responsible for leading a team of 10-15 people within a fast paced, reactive environment.

Duties include:-

– Manage production targets, team and individual KPI’s
– Provide training to staff and maintain records
– Minimise waste and costs
– Ensure quality levels are achieved
– Look at ways to continuously improve the product and process
– Work closely with other departments
– Lead by example in all areas of health and safety, housekeeping etc

To be considered for the position you must be able to demonstrate that you have worked at a supervisory level within a fast paced manufacturing environment, you will have had exposure to lean manufacturing and will be a strong leader and people person.
