General Manager

Salary: £26,000 per year

Hanson Lawrie are looking to recruit a highly motivated, passionate and people focused General Manager to oversee the operations of our Clients business, drive performance and continuous improvement initiatives and ultimately deliver growth in terms of profitability, market share and development of people.

We are looking for an exceptional Leader with the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team, whilst also being technical competent and able to develop new routes-to market and distribution channels.

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience of owning the full operational responsibility for a Production/Process/Sales/Stock within an automotive organisation. Also essential is the ability to manage people and budgets, develop and implement strategy, and a technical/engineering background in Diesel systems within the commercial vehicle and off highway markets.

We are looking for a graduate calibre candidate with strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer focused with commercial acumen. An understanding of regulations and legislation across all business functions from HR and Health and Safety and statutory duties of a Company is also essential.
