General Manager – Restaurant – £50-£55K plus bonus & benefits

Our retained client is looking for a General Manager to oversee their contemporary and stylish restaurant. The General Manager must have a passion for excellence when it comes to good food and drink.
This fantastic opportunity has arisen to manage this superb operation based on the outskirts of southend. Easily accessible from Basildon, southend and Brentwood areas. Recently refurbished this site offers a well-established and well-respected service to locals and visitors alike. This venue has a contemporary and stylish backdrop that specialises in fresh food, exceptional service and a team that exceeds every guest’s expectations. The successful applicant will have at least three years’ experience of managing a similar fresh food style business and be able to deal with average volume in the summer months. You will also need to have an exceptional knowledge of quality food wine and beers, be able to manager over 25 staff on a daily basis.
As General Manager you will drive this business from the floor, delivering the offer with flair and presence. The role is a host to the guests and a coach to the team and support the owner.
