Salary: £26,000 – £33,618 per year
We are currently seeking reliable production operatives who have a willingness to learn to join our clients well established team on a temp to perm basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a food manufacturing environment and have good communication and literacy skills, basic computer skills. Must be able to work in a role that has physical demands.
You will operate and monitor production equipment as per companies standard operating procedures (SOPS) to achieve product that is within internal and external specifications.
* Working steadily and methodically to carry out routine manual handling tasks
* Bagging and sealing and checking for foreign body contaminants
* Taking and analysing product samples
* Operating and monitoring production equipment safely
* Undertaking manual handling tasks including hand stacking product/packing into boxes and onto pallets.
* Use of computer and paper-based systems to accurately record operational data into companies systems, such as QIS and NAV.
* Working within all company policies and procedures, including health and safety and food standards.
* And any other duties required within your level of competence, to meet the business needs.

Hours: Double Day Shift a 2 week shift pattern consisting of a week of early shifts 05:45 to 14:15 Monday to Friday and a week of late shifts 13:45 to 22:15 Monday to Friday (with some flex in the shift start times). Overtime available at an enhanced rate.
29 days holiday including bank holidays, Subsidised canteen, Lockers, Free Parking.
Must have access to own transport due to location and shift times.
