Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year
Production Planner required for permanent position at prestigious manufacturing company based near Hadleigh. Working as part of a two-person team, the successful candidate will be jointly responsible for the day-to-day planning of production, ensuring that products are produced using an analysed and planned workflow based on material availability and production capacity.
Duties will include:
* Creation of weekly production plans
* Performance analysis against production plan
* Response to urgent requirements from manufacturing
* Chasing of production shortages to ensure customer demands are met
* Undertake continuous improvement projects.
Previous experience is a planning function, ideally in a manufacturing environment, is required along with knowledge and previous use of ERP/MRP systems. Applicants must be effective communicators with proven problem analysis and problem-solving skills. The ability to adapt and respond effectively to changes in planning requirements is essential.
