Production Planner

Salary: £40,800 – £43,200 per year

Production Planner, Kettering, 8.30am – 5pm, 5 days in 7, £34K – £36K

Our client is a phenomenally successful production company who on top of years of success, continue to grow and have ambitious plans for increased business over the next 3 years and beyond.

Due to further growth, they are looking to appoint a Production Planner.

Reporting to the Production Manager the Production Planner will be responsible for creating the week-to-week production schedule, ensuring materials are supplied to fulfil the plan giving the operation the absolute best chance of meeting company efficiency targets. Close liaisons with the Sales & Operational Planning teams to ensure plans are in line with expectation & deadlines are achieved.

Responsibilities of the Production Planner

• Creation of Weekly production schedule
• Creation of Production Line works orders
• Working closely with the operation daily to ensure planned targets and customer deadlines are being met
• Link in with Sales/Customer management teams through regular meetings
• Manage plans in conjunction with Material availability working on a push / pull basis
• Manage material Stock Holding in line with agreed target levels
• Administer material data
• To liaise with our customer and suppliers regarding non-Conforming deliveries
• Attending production and planning meetings
• Smooth planning of inbound stock and vehicles within the capacity of the site

Experience required for the role of Production Planner

We are ideally looking for an individual with production planning, materials planning experience, we would also welcome applications from Production Planning Assistance or individuals who plan as part of their production role.
