Salary: £26,000 per year
Position: Production and Materials Planner
Location: Carlisle
Client: market leading food and drink manufacturer
Role and Accountabilities:
-generating weekly/daily production plans to meet factory output demands
-generate materials/components supply plan and add value to the production planning process
-supply raw materials and packaging in line with factory demands
-Support product launches ensuring supply is in full, on time and within budget
-Manage material variances
-Monitor supplier performance
-Maintaining the SAP system
Challenges:
-waste minimisation
-Decision making and analysis around stock control and demand planning
-Stock utilisation
Requirements:
-Production planning and materials management experience from within the food industry ideally
-SAP preferred but not essential
