Metalis are working in partnership with a prestigious engineering company involved in the design and manufacture of bespoke high value precision components both in the UK and Worldwide.

Duties of the Production Planner:

• Planning and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules and demand plans from engineering drawings in line with customer requirements.
• Daily MRP/ERP reviews to identify any potential production delays/ improvements
• Management of consumables inventory and Supply Chain component requirements.
• Collaborating with Supply Chain to analyse materials and adjust production schedules accordingly, in line with new material dates and available manufacturing resources.

Experience of the Production Planner:

• Ideally apprentice trained or equivalent in mechanical engineering with 3 years’ hands on experience
• Must have previous production planning experience using MRP/ ERP systems
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Ideally previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment working with precision machining, fabrication & assembly

Salary:

• £21.6ph circa dependant on experience
• 39 hour working week, Days
• Overtime x 1.5
• 3 Month ongoing temporary contract
