Towing & Ground Service Agent

One Resourcing Ltd are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a major ground handling company for their Gatwick Airport operation for 2015

Working 40 hours per week the hourly rate of pay for this position is £26,000.

To ensure the customer and airport tow plan is delivered in line with Service Level Agreements.

This will be done in accordance with Company and Airport procedures and in line with the relevant training received.

To provide a dedicated towing team for pier service levels using both TBL (Tow bar less) and conventional tugs and tow bars.

To consistently deliver the highest possible level of customer service
Ensure services are provided in accordance with Customers’ Service Agreements and current legislation.
Provide unparalleled levels of professional customer care within the airport at all times
To carry out required company Tows for pier service levels.
When required to carry out all Ground Handling related activities as directed by the Company through its policies, procedures and training to facilitate the success of the operation in which you have been trained, including the following:
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the relevant training received
Position and remove steps, GPU’s, ASU’s, belt loaders, Jetways and any other
equipment necessary for the aircraft turnaround in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the relevant training received
Perform de-icing and snow clearing procedures
Other duties as required
Experience of working within the aviation industry in a similar role
Previous experience or training on Tow barless tractors an advantage
Demonstrable towing or pushback experience is essential
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Full, clean driving licence
Must be flexible
Exemplary punctuality and absence record.
Working at London Gatwick Airport you will need to be flexible with regard to working hours and shift patterns.
