Political Researcher

My client is an independent, non-party think tank. They provide research on core issues of the economy, health, education with the aim to set out a better delivery of public services and economic prosperity. They work to achieve balance between government and individual, communicating this to the public and opinion formers.

They are now looking for public policy researchers to join there academic and vibrant team.

Experience & requirements:

First class intellectual abilities and excellent academic records.
Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of public policy principles and practice.
Knowledge of the workings of Westminster and Whitehall.
Economically literate and have a strong interest in current affairs.
Track record of quantitative and qualitative research techniques
Help with the company’s research and events programme.
Providing detailed and in-depth research reports on key issues.
Organising and supporting high level sponsored events, writing proposals and ensuring a first rate attendance.
Well organised, intuitive with an inquiring mind and great at generating ideas.This is a permanent role with an immediate start.

Salary: £31,200 + performance bonus
