The Telecommunications and Media sector practice of this international management consultancy firm operates in the fast moving, diverse and demanding communications and media industry. Communications clients include telecom operators, network equipment vendors and regulators. Media clients include major broadcasters and application service providers. The success of these industry sectors depends on many things: ability to effectively align new technologies with consumer and business buying behaviour, retaining customers’ spend and finding new ways to streamline existing operations, and persistent innovation – all in the face of a shifting regulatory and competitive landscape. As a consultant within this practice you will be required to help clients transform their business and deliver business critical programmes of change.

Our client is seeking to strengthen its team with individuals from a strong networks background who have participated in and led work-streams in the following types of business assignments:
• Network planning, design and operations
• Developing sourcing strategies and leading procurement projects
• Business process redesign
• Implementation management and execution of business change
• Business case & strategy development
• Programme and project management
• Performance improvement
• Due diligence / investment appraisal

Desirable experience as follows
• Help design, deliver and lead large scale and complex projects
• Work within mixed consulting and client teams, planning, managing and delivering work
• Develop strategic client relationships, working at the senior levels on high profile work to tight timescales
• Development of services and propositions
• Responsible for quality, profit and project planning.

Although consultancy experience will be valuable, we are also interested in candidates with relevant experience from industry, including service providers. Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills and be willing to travel to client sites as required. In the majority of cases, assignments will be in the UK and Europe.
