Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year
Magdalene have an exciting new position based in Glasgow to join our growing team. We are currently recruiting Telecoms Rigger Installer Engineers on a permanent basis. As a permanent employee you will be provided with a van, holiday pay, company sickness and pension.
Main Purpose of the role:
The requirement is for a Rigger/Installer for installation and commissioning of Mobile base station equipment and/or microwave Links and dishes. Applicants must be physically fit, used to working outdoors, self-motivated with good general installation knowledge and be able to complete all tasks quickly and to a high standard with minimum supervision. Climbing is required on monopoles, towers and roof tops.
Out of hours working will be required.
Essential:
• Two years minimum experience of:
o Installation of equipment on towers and rooftops including rigging, support mounts, all connection requirements and sealing.
o Installation microwave links including dishes and feeder.
• Preparation and updating documentation and reports.
• Completion of site surveys.
• Appropriate certification for the following for microwave work:
o Advanced Industrial Climber
o Rescue from Towers, Masts & Structures
o Rooftop Safety/Work Restraint
o Radio Frequency Awareness
o Lifting and Rigging for Workers at Height
o First Aid for Site Safety
• Valid driving licence.
• CSCS Card (or approved equivalent).
