IT Support Engineer – Pontypridd

We now have an exciting opportunity for a committed, self-motivated IT Engineer to be based in or around Bridgend. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair of a wide range of computer equipment including servers, within our customer’s datacentre facilities.

You will be an Experienced IT Engineer with experience gained in the repair and fixing of IT hardware including servers.

This position is shift based working Monday to Friday 1.00pm to 9.30pm

Main Duties:

* Repair and maintain hardware – Servers, Laptops, Printers and associated perpherals.
* Complete software incidents to customer/manufacturer procedures and specifications.
* Installation of hardware to manufacturers/customers specification.
* Complete moves and changes to customers specifications.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

* Server repair /maintenance experience
* Able to work on own initiative
* Software knowledge
* Full Clean UK Driving License
* Security clearance or the ability to gain security clearance

Any industry accreditations would be afdvantageous but not essential.
