Quality Engineer

Leading manufacturer of electronics and electro-mechanical precision measuring products are seeking a Quality Engineer to undertake a diverse range of quality engineering tasks, including involvement in new product introduction, reviewing engineering documentation, quality audits, analysis of data and liaison with suppliers. Duties include:

* Supplier Quality and Vendor Performance activities.
* Investigation and resolution of Product and Process problems.
* Process and systems auditing
* Quality and Process Improvements through active involvement in build process aimed at preventing problems.
* Analysis of manufacturing and returns data.
* Quality planning, development of best practice and standards.
* Development of monitoring and measurement methods including SPC.
* Technical / Engineering support to Quality.
* Product and Process validation.

You will have proven experience within a general quality engineering role within an electronics/mechanical products manufacturing environment and have a good knowledge of ISO9001:2008. In addition you will have liaised between manufacturing and design departments for new product introduction activities.
