Quality Engineer – Feltham – up to £45,000 + Benefits – Ref 793

I am currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Feltham. Salary up to £54,000+ Benefits.

The organisation is an industry leading company that is delivering a range world class products into specialist markets. They have a team of highly motivated individuals that are extremely driven and pride themselves on delivering their innovative portfolio of products and engineering expertise to clients across the globe. 

Due to recent expansion, the organisation has the need to appoint a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Quality Engineer, you will be involved in the full life cycle of quality within a product being manufactured. This will include goods in inspection of the individual components using hand held measuring equipment. You will be involved in customer complaints and dealing with NCR (non conformance reports) as well as conducting the necessary root cause analysis for the specific components, systems or products. You will also be involved in conducting vendor assessments / supplier audits with a view of improving the suppliers for the company. This may include onboarding new suppliers where and when required. Finally you will complete the document pack for the customer as well as completing final inspection of the finished product.

Ideal Requirements:

• At least 1 years experience as a Quality Engineer or similar
• Experience using hand held measuring equipment for inspection
• Experience with customer complaints / returns
• Experience with NCR (non conformance reports)
• Experience in Root cause analysis
