Senior Site Manager

Salary: £33,871 – £42,402 per year

Dedicate Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a faith primary Academy, which is part of a larger Trust across Birmingham. 

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for your own primary school and will also manage and oversee the Site Supervisors at three other primary schools in close proximity of each other. You will lead on all aspects of compliance to ensure the continued safety and security of the cluster of schools is maintained. Key aspects of the post include security, overseeing the cleaning team, site compliance, liaising with external contractors, routine maintenance, refurbishment and general repairs.

You will ensure the appropriate training and development programmes are in place for all the site staff within the cluster.

The successful applicant will be professional, hard-working, multi-skilled and proactive. You will be a natural communicator and can form positive relationships easily. Experience of working in a school or similar environment would be an advantage. You will possess a good working knowledge of Health & Safety compliance and PAT testing procedures.

You will be confident using MS Office applications to record recommendations and produce reports for weekly and monthly review.

This is an on-site, full time, all year through post. The core hours are 8am – 4pm with some shift work necessary. The successful candidate will hold a current Enhanced DBS check or will be subject to one.
