Salary: £84,000 – £90,000 per year

Senior Finance Manager – Work from home – immediate start – £70,000 – £75,000

Red are proud to be partnering with high profile, very successful UK business in Swindon with their latest Senior Finance Manager vacancy. With over 1200 employees across the UK, the successful candidate will join a busy Company with an ambitious growth plan who will undertake all aspects of financial management including management accounting, regulatory and financial reporting.

Senior Finance Manager responsibilities;

Acting as the primary support staff member for monthly and year-end financial activities, providing high quality insight and variance analysis at every stage
Driving team performance, through developing the individual team members and providing clear guidance
Developing and improving existing financial processes, embedding controls and providing assurance to the executive team
Reconciling balance sheets and delivering summary reconciliation reports to the executive team, ensuring timely resolution of any identified actions
Collaborating with payroll to ensure that all deductions and payroll activities are compliant with payroll laws
Working alongside other Finance Managers to oversee all activities related to HMRC tax compliance issues

Senior Finance Manager characteristics;

Highly analytical, commercially focused and makes decisions based on data
Confident problem solver with the ability to find solutions through researching evidence
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required (Master’s degree preferred)
Valid AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA status
5+ years’ experience in a managerial accounting position
Strong understanding of tax codes and laws
Proficiency with accounting software required
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
