Accountant

I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to work in a car dealership based in Norwich on a temporary to permanent basis.

The successful candidate will ideally have relevant industry experience however good accountancy background will be considered.

Job duties:

– To assist in preparation of monthly management accounts to trail balance in accordance with group policy
– To prepare and submit Manufacturer Composites to strict deadlines
– To check sales commissions and other pay claims, prepare accruals
To prepare and submit payroll. Liase with relevant staff to resolve any queries thereon
To reconcile all balance sheet accounts within your area of responsibility
– To produce and maintain year-end files
– To investigate and/or analysis any queries raised by management
– To provide support to other finance functions as require
– To ensure that, within your area of responsibility, all company policies, procedures and minimum standards are met and that all statutory requirements are adhered to
– Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy
