Risktec Solutions Ltd. is an independent and specialist risk management consulting and training company. We assist clients in major hazard industries to manage safety and business risk. We are seeking a highly organised IT Support individual with an engaging personality to join our friendly head office in Warrington as an IT Support Engineer. Warrington is our UK Head office so we also offer support to other international offices.

About You:
• Must have been continuously resident in the UK for the past five years
• Approachable
• Preference is given to candidates living within one hour’s travel time of Warrington
• Self-motivated
• Dynamic
• Consistent
• Able to react quickly to urgent issues
• Able to prioritise well when under pressure
• Desire to spend most of your time in the Warrington office. This role is not suitable for people who wish to work at home most of the time.
• Willing to work outside of normal office hours including occasional weekends

• Dell servers
• Netgear switches
• Windows Deployment Services
Examples of your day-to-day duties:
• Providing practical advice and support to all staff on the company’s IT services.
- Installation of equipment ranging from Servers to desktops and laptops through to ancillary network equipment. Helping staff to obtain maximum benefit from I.T. services.
• Packing and moving a variety of equipment
• Plan and undertake projects to improve and upgrade key IT systems
• Ensuring continued compliance with ISO and Cyber Essentials+
Essential Skills:
• Experience and knowledge of Microsoft applications and administration
Windows 10, Windows Server 2012-2019
• Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Group Policy, Microsoft IIS
• Sound knowledge of Network Infrastructures
• 2nd and 3rd line troubleshooting experience e.g. confident in amending permissions in A.D.
Desirable Skills:
HNC/HND qualification
Linux administration
Root cause analysis
Printer maintenance and repair
Diagnosing issues with Citrix Workspace
Understanding of Zscaler
