Projects Completed: Building Maintenance, Carpentry, Retail Fit-Out

Our client is a small contractor situated in Northamptonshire close to the Bedfordshire border that has been established for seven years. They complete Refurbishment, Building Maintenance and Fit-Out works within the private and commercial sectors with clients to include; McDonalds, PC World, Esso and Tesco’s. They have seen good steady growth and continue to build an excellent reputation for the projects completed leading to many repeat orders.

Due to this growth they are now seeking to appoint a Junior Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager to join their team. You will assist in the delivery of projects and be fully involved in the procurement and managing subcontractors and direct labour combining both site and office based working. You will be provided with a structured training and development programme to quickly develop your skills and knowledge in order to oversee multiple projects from inception through to completion and handover.

You will:-
• Be educated to HNC level minimum, ideally a Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management highly advantageous
• Experience within Quantity surveying or Project Management beneficial but not essential
• Have good basic technical knowledge
• Be confident with excellent communication, prioritisation and client facing skills
• Highly enthusiastic with a strong desire to achieve
• Be well presented
• IT literate
• Commercial and contractually aware
• Hold a full UK Drivers Licence
