Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £48,000 – £72,000 per year

We are looking for a dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join our winning team. As a business, our reputation is expanding both on and offline, as is our delivery in ever unique projects. We are keen to develop our Quantity Surveying team to harness this growth and build together! Boasting an entrepreneurial environment, our ideal candidate would be a driven professional who possesses a can-do attitude, ambitious and capable of working independently. Being eager for greater responsibility and comfortable working in a small team is a characteristic that would greatly complement the group. The ideal candidate would also have a knack for problem solving and finding solutions to hindrances, as well as the ability to build and maintain client rapport. The longevity of our client relationships generate a steady flow of ‘word and mouth’ prospective clientele and approximates a healthy portion of our business. Thereby someone who can maintain and supersede our sparkling reputation is key. Responsibilities & Experience Required:

• Life cycle costing/whole life costing. • Prepare feasibility studies. • Prepare measured cost plans. • Extensive network/Ability to acquire/bring business. • Measuring Bills of Quantities. • Tender experience. • Preparing Schedules of Work. • Contract Administration. • Analysing tenders and reporting thereon. • Development appraisals. • Preparation of Contract Documents. • On the APC route, or MRICS / Degree Qualified. • Estimating • Experience in the Residential Sector. • Must own/lease personal vehicle. Desirable:

• Health & Safety Project Co-ordination (UK CDM Co-ordinator). • Bank Monitoring. • Pre-let advice. • Undertaking post contract services including valuations, cost reports and final accounts. • Insurance Valuations
