Health & Safety Co-ordinator (6 month FTC)

My client and I are looking for an EHS Co-ordinator to join the team in a busy business that is in the pharmaceutical industry. This is an initial 6 month FTC which may lead to an extension. We need someone that is proactive and can work as an individual as well as supporting the EHS3 Manager.

Requirements:

Supporting the sites Health & Safety Manager and wider UK business working in a Lab, Office and mall Warehouse environment. The Health & Safety Co-ordinator will support day to day activities across 3 sites which are Reading, Basingstoke & Bristol. Being the initial point of contact for all Health & Safety concerns.

The coordinator will be responsible for:

• EHS reporting and generation of Management Information.
• Risk assessment support including COSHH, DSE and manual handling.
• Contractor Control, review of RAMS, Permits, licenses, and insurance information.
• Entry of information into local EHS systems.
• Creation and preparation of inhouse training materials
• Supporting the generation of Safe systems of work.
• Local auditing.
• EHS Project support
• EHS representation at safety committee meetings
• Deputising for the EHS3 Manager as required.

Skills:

• NEBOSH General certificate
• 3 years operational experience.
• Chemical safety.
