Armed Forces Charity Regional Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and confident individual who knows the Air Force, or other Armed Force, is forward thinking, can work on their own initiative and has experience in a senior command/management role and has a flair for fundraising. You will be someone who can develop and implement clear strategies to build and maintain high value relationships with the RAF, individuals and corporate partners which deliver long term sustainable income for the charity.

You will lead and develop a small regional team, responsible for among other things fundraising targets, profile enhancement and engagement for your region and be the face of The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund with the RAF on all the Stations in your area as well as with our supporters and beneficiaries. To do that you will need to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of serving and veteran RAF and be persuasive and confident in asking for support to enable the delivery of our welfare programmes.

This is an extremely busy and varied role which requires travel to all the Stations in the Region and to events and activities during the year.
