Account Manager – Maternity cover (until August 31st 2015)

Living Edge is the lifestyle magazine for those living in and around Manchester, South Manchester & parts of Cheshire. Packed with local features on fashion, food, culture and all the fundamentals needed to land yourself a luscious life, this monthly publication never fails to inform and delight.

This opportunity will see you selling print and digital advertising to businesses throughout the area. As well as meeting customers for face to face meetings you will, from our Warrington offices, have the opportunity to drive and complete sales with customers over the telephone.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Proven B2B field sales background
Previous media advertising sales experience
The ability to create customer-focussed advertising campaigns
Strong relationship building skills
A persuasive and memorable presence
Strong presentation skills
Some knowledge of print and digital advertising
A passion for publishing / magazines
The role will require you to have a proven successful track record of driving new business, delivering a strong pipeline and increasing media revenues and profits at every opportunity. The primary focus of the role will combine new business development, actively generating new leads/sales as well as honing and developing existing relationships.
