Salary: £72,000 – £84,000 per year
Our clients are looking for an Engineering Manager to join the site leadership team, managing the maintenance team and delivering and maintaining manufacturing excellence. The ideal candidate will have significant experience within the chemical or related process industry in maintenance and project roles.
Petrochemicals experience is preferred, but candidates with other experience will be considered. Experience of solids handling equipment would be advantageous. The job role will involve leading a program to deliver high levels of reliability of the assets whilst ensuring that the site is in full compliance with all legal requirements in relation to asset integrity.
The candidate will ideally have the following skills/experience:
• Chartered Engineer (Preferably Mechanical).
• Previous experience of plant maintenance accountability within a top tier COMAH environment.
• Experienced in Maintenance and Capital Projects Management.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management.
• Budget setting and accountability
• Track record of effective leadership
• Awareness of relevant legislation, standards and approved codes of practice including pressure equipment regulations and atex.
