Electronics Engineering Manager
An internationally established, complex engineering company is driving a major investment in their electronics R&D division. To manage their entire electronics NPI R&D operation, an Electronics Engineering Manager is required.
Role
+ Develop a strategic road-map in electronics and motor control product development
+ Manage the development of electronic controllers, drives, instrumentation and custom interfaces
+ Oversee the specification, design and supply of ac induction and brushless dc motors
+ Promote and deliver quality standards across development, test, release and through-life support
+ Plan, monitor and manage costs, revenue and budgets
+ Recruit, train, monitor, manage and inspire a broad range of engineers to deliver innovative and effective solutions to ever increasingly complex engineering problems and commercial challenges
Experience required
+ Substantial experience in managing the delivery of electronic solutions through a team of high technology engineers and technical specialists
+ proven track record in successfully delivering solutions to challenging problems in the technical arena
Qualifications Required
+ At least a degree or higher qualification in electronics, physics or related subject matter
+ Chartered status combined with an MBA or similar qualification would also be expected
