My client is a successful and well-established print and packaging supplier operating from their recently expanded HQ in Mansfield. Overview:

They now have a position for an Account Manager. The company receives hundreds of incoming sales enquiries every week and when a new customer orders for the first time they are allocated to an Account Manager. Their role is to initially convert the enquiry into an order and then manage the production of that order from receipt of artwork, all the way through to final product delivery and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Dealing with new sales enquiries and providing quotations.
• Raising work orders for both internal and external production.
• Utilise their inhouse resource including photography, design, storage and distribution.
• Negotiate with suppliers and secure the best possible buying prices and lead times for our customers.
• Cross sell Group services and build strong relationships with existing customers.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working in a similar role in a printing environment or in the promotional products industry is desirable but not essential
• Confident telephone manner, well organised and good admin skills. Competent IT skills are essential.
• A commercial mind with the ability to juggle several jobs at different stages of production.
• The ability to deal with a combination of new customer enquiries and live jobs, requiring someone that understands production processes and can think on their feet.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment – It is always very busy but they pay a quarterly commission on every order you look after so it’s also very rewarding!
