THE BUSINESS
A Midlands construction company behind several major schemes is looking to significantly expand its team in the city. They are very well respected and have excellent opportunities for people who are looking to progress their career. They are now looking to take a Site Manager on due to a number of projects starting shortly. They operate in most industry sectors and are a very financially secure business to work for. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential builds but this is not essential.

Most if not all of their projects are already pre sold- financially very strong and secure.

In this role you will:
*Take ownership for Health & Safety and Environment responsibility.
*Work closely with the pre-construction team on; SHE, Build ability and programme issues and review and comment on design information issues by both consultants and suppliers.
*Work closely with the Site Management team on each site to ensure that things run smoothly – an effective communicator is essential.
*Manage projects in line with the agreed finance and production targets and reports.
*Have key client-facing responsibility
KEY REQUIREMENTS
*Portfolio of successfully delivered, high value projects
*Experience in running large teams
*Confident communicator
*Excellent Leadership Skills
*Relevant qualifications
SALARY
The salary for the Contracts Manager position will be between £60,000 – £66,000 dependant on level of exposure to similar positions before. The package will also include various fringe benefits including car or car allowance, pension, living expenses etc.
