Business Development Manager

Salary: £40,800 per year

Platform Resourcing are partnered with a Software Platform and Advisory who are a small but rapidly growing company, working across all sectors with a strong track record and reputation in the market. They are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager who is passionate, professional, and motivated to succeed within the business to help continue the success to join their team.

To be successful, you will have a background within service led sales and will thrive from working autonomously, building relationships, networking and working within a fast-paced environment. This role, including client meetings, will be predominantly remote, with the occasional visit to the office and on site with clients.

Overview of the position:

* You will take responsibility for the whole customer life cycle, from identifying new prospects to closing deals

* Following up on leads generated from the marketing activity to convert prospects

* First point of contact for the new business team members

* Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline from cold calling, social selling, social media platforms, networking events and face to face appointments

* Providing live product demonstrations via webinar

* Negotiating and closing deals

* Building great relationships with the market

Experience required for the role of Senior Business Development Manager

* Exceptional communication skills over the phone, face to face and written

* 2 years+ experience in SaaS/ Subscription/ Technology/ Recruitment

* Great negotiator with ideally knowledge of bidding and tendering

* Positive, energetic and able to generate new business through a variety of activity
