We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Development and Sustainability Manager to join our team based in our head office in London to cover a maternity leave.

The Product Development and Sustainability Manager will lead on transitioning temporary and restricted funded projects into sustainable activities, services and products the organisation can use at the end of the funded delivery period. Supporting the Country Director (England) to plan for the sustainability of projects by developing effective processes, framework and methodologies so that the outcomes and learning can add the greatest strategic and operational value across the organisation.

Working closely with project managers and teams across Mencap and external organisations, determine the commercial value of project resources and products and put delivery models in place to embed them within Mencap’s business as usual activities.

The successful applicant will have professional credibility with the ability to build positive relationships/partnerships. Experience of managing multiple projects/activities/tasks, risk management, Programme/Project Planning and stakeholder management.
