Project Manager

Renewable Energy Project Manager required in Surrey. The Renewable Energy Project Manager will be responsible for the successful installation and delivery of commercial and large domestic renewable energy projects; technologies include heat pumps, biomass and solar systems.

The Project Manager will be predominately office based travelling to sites for surveys, meetings, installation and client handover. The Renewable Energy Project Manager will control the project from start to finish, so you with therefore be responsible for the overall planning of a project, for example, labour requirements, ordering materials as per the specification and ensuring you are working within the contract requirements.

It is expected that the Project Manager will have previous experience working within the renewable energy industry or potentially the M&E sector with an understanding of renewable energy technologies. Site experience is essential dealing with numerous onsite trades such as other contractors, quantity surveyors and site managers.

The Project Manager will need to reside in Surrey and be within a commutable distance of Gatwick. A full driving licence is also required due to the requirement to visit sites nationally; occasional overnight stays are to be expected.

Overall control of large domestic and commercial renewable energy projects, overseeing the on time and on budget installation of heat pump, biomass or solar systems throughout the UK.
Predominantly office is based in Gatwick with travel to various sites.

Project Manager Position Requirements

Proven experience managing the installation of renewable energy projects
Some technical knowledge of renewable energy systems, preferably heat pumps, solar and biomass.
Based in within a commutable distance of Gatwick
Full Driving Licence

Project Manager Position Remuneration

Salary £42,000 – £48,000
