Job Description:
Are you customer service focussed? Looking for a role in Catering? Don’t want to work weekends? If the answer to the above is yes, then this is the Catering Assistant Role for you. You’ll be working on a temporary basis, with a view to possible permanent employment. We are looking for a Catering Assistant to work in a prestigious School on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells. There is occasional overtime on weekends, which is optional. You’ll need to be comfortable with performing the following key duties:

* Serving students

* Replenishing fridges and counters

* Clearing tables

* Sweeping and mopping

* Sanitising key touch points

* Basic washing up

In return, you can expect a Salary: of £26,000 per year, plus a further £1.08 in holiday pay, a company pension, high street perks app, weekly pay and the opportunity for permanent employment, or work in other sites. The site requires a DBS Certificate. If you don’t already have one, you can obtain one through Twentysix Recruitment. Due to the location of the School, own transport is essential as this is not accessible on public transport.

Please note that you will need to complete the training package below before being offered an interview. Training is funded and offered at no charge to the individual.

Training is either delivered in our COVID safe, training centre, in small groups where we have social distancing and protective measures following Department of Education guidance or it can be delivered online in the safety of your own home in a virtual class group led by one of our tutors- the choice is yours. When you complete the course you will be interviewed for the role.
