Catering Assistant

We are seeking experienced Catering Assistants to work alongside a major catering company based near London Heathrow Airport.

£26,000 per year – £26,000 per year dependent on individual client contracts and the type of shift pattern worked.

As a Catering Assistant you will assist the kitchen team with the basic preparation of food and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen areas.

You will work under the direction of the senior managers and work together as a Catering Team in order to provide a professional service to all customers.

The main duties of a Catering Assistant will include:

* Assisting with basic food preparation
* Serving food
* Collecting food items from kitchen and preparing buffet
* Cash till operation
* Preparing hot and cold drinks
* Adhering to food hygiene standards
* Washing of crockery using a dishwasher

The essential requirements to be successful as a Catering Assistant include:

* Basic experience as a Catering Assistant, Kitchen Assistant, Housekeeper or Kitchen Porter
* The ability to work well within a team
* Have a flexible and positive approach to work
* Have excellent communication skills
* Have a good understanding of basic food hygiene regulations
* The ability to work shifts between 0430- 2300 Monday to Sunday

Applicants must have their own transport to travel to and from work due to the location of this position.
