Catering Assistant

I am currently looking for a Catering Assistant to work for a large catering company based in Cheadle, Stockport. This is a temporary role working Monday to Friday from 8am to 3.30pm. This role pays £26,000 per year and offers free on-site car parking and food and beverages free of charge.

Daily duties will include
-Making sure that the kitchen areas are clean and all work surfaces are wiped down
-Cleaning tables and setting tables ready for breakfast and lunch
-Serving food to customers
-Managing the hot plates
-Preparation of vegetables, meat and condiments for the day
-Ensure all cutlery, crockery and pots/pans are washed clean and put away
-Follow all health and safety procedures and food hygiene standards
-Report to the catering manager and complete any ad-hoc duties when required

Applicants will be required to complete a Food Safety Standards test to demonstrate your knowledge of the catering sector prior to starting the assignment.

This is a temporary role working Monday to Friday to help and support the end client with peaks in their business, cover when staff are on annual leave and to cover staff shortages due to sickness.

Hours of work shall be between from 8am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

This role pays £26,000 per year with free on-site parking and food and beverages for the working day shall be free of charge
