Contracts Manager

Salary: £84,000 – £102,000 per year

Roma Black are proud to be partnered with a Civil Engineering Company within the material processing industry who are looking for a Contracts Manager to be based in their Northern Ireland office in Augher, Co.Tyrone.

The purpose of the role is to manage a number of sites to ensure the work is delivered safely, on time and in budget.

Duties and responsibilities of a Contracts Manager:

• Managing several large scale projects at a time from tender to delivery.
• Leading a team including project managers, site engineers and operatives.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to a high standard.
• Building relationships with clients.
• Managing internal and external resources.
• Overseeing the design process and supply chain. 
• Reporting and managing KPI’s.
• Programming of work and planning the project.
• Leading client meetings. 
• Developing and mentoring junior staff.
• Site visits.
  

Required skills and experience of a Contracts Manager:

• Experience as a Contracts / Project Manager in the Civil Engineering, Construction or Aggregates industry
• SMSTS
• Project Management or Civil Engineering Qualification
• Asbestos awareness
• Driving licence
• Flexibility to travel across the UK to visit sites and clients 
• Team leading experience
• High level communication and relationship building skills
